Transformation of America as a result of westward expansion was repugnant and respectable. The terms repugnant and respectable are appropriate because it was good and bad. During the westward expansion we had growth of western cities. People wanted to explore and it lead to good and bad things. After the documents, Themes that I considered while analyzing topic are positive and negative impacts on culture and politics.
Firstly, the impact o westward expansion on ideas of America femininity affected CULTURE of the time in a positive way based on new freedom and friendships. For instance, In source 1 “A movement of approximately 40,000 African Americans….. lead to Kansas in the 1870s”. This allows us to see AAs wanted to improve their lives and they had to leave the south and go west and many tried to make sure AA were able to get were able to get a fair start at transforming their lives. The way people lived.
Thirdly, the destruction of Native Americans affected POLITICS of the time in place in a negative way based on nature changes and relationships. For instance, in source 3 it states, “railroad workers and passengers killed Buffalo for food and sport”. In addition, it states, “greatly weakened plains Indians, who depended on Buffalo. This allows us to see people had a harmful impact on the environment and many settlers did not appreciate the Native American culture, rules and laws.
fifthly, some may feel the transformation of Americans as a result of westward expansion affected politics and culture of the time in mostly a negative way.

You did amazing! I put most of my attention on this sentence “This allows us to see people had a harmful impact on the environment and many settlers did not appreciate the Native American culture, rules and laws.” I agree with what you said here as they didn’t respect the Native Americans and choose to take over their space. Your post made me feel that America had their reasons for doing what they did but they didn’t have ruin others in the process. In he future I hope you focus more on your grammar but you did find a nice picture to go along with yo essay. I rated your work a 2 out of 3. Do you think they should have went somewhere else other then on the Native Americans land?
Nice work. I was very focus on your” In addition, it states, “greatly weakened plains Indians, who depended on Buffalo. This allows us to see people had a harmful impact on the environment and many settlers did not appreciate the Native American culture, rules and laws.” I like your post because it was very good evidence. I suggest you work on finishing it. I give you a 2 out of 3. How was the Indians being weakened?
Decent work! I would score your essay a 2 out of 3. I mainly focused on this sentence, “This allows us to see people had a harmful impact on the environment and many settlers did not appreciate the Native American culture, rules and laws.” This statement showed me how Native American culture didn’t have as much freedom as others. I think that the westward expansion had a positive and negative outcome because of the different changes that came upon them, but they killed off the American bison and the Native Americans. I really liked your picture because it shows what your essay is mainly about. Next time, you should use punctuation correctly and capitalize words that needs to be capitalized. How did westward expansion help us in today’s society?
